Immigration Attorney in Columbus, Ohio
Recent changes in U.S. and Ohio immigration enforcement have significantly increased risks for certain immigrant groups. Legal permanent residents (LPRs) and naturalized U.S. citizens are now being placed in removal or denaturalization proceedings for lesser convictions that historically did not trigger such actions. In particular, individuals facing criminal charges—no matter how minor—should speak with an immigration attorney in Columbus, Ohio, immediately to understand the potential consequences for their status. Additionally, visa overstays, even by a single day, are now being classified as unlawful presence and may lead to immediate detention and deportation. If you or a loved one has overstayed a visa or is involved in any criminal proceedings, it is essential to seek legal guidance now to protect your rights and your future.
